Nine paths

Nine classes, nine ways to fight. Each one comes from an order of Asaria and has its own weapon, its own role in the party and its own style. See what each one does and pick yours.

Mage

Strikes from afar with an orb that floats at their side. Their spells slow, bind and leave the enemy more and more unstable — and when the target reaches its limit, they unleash the blow that brings it down for good. The strongest at range, and the most fragile up close.

Order
O Círculo do Estilhaço
Role
Ranged damage and control
Weapon
Floating orb and bracelet

Archer

Always fights one step out of the enemy's reach: shoot, fall back, shoot again. Their arrows blend strength and magic, and they have answers for spellcasters — silence, mana drain and broken spells. In open ground, they are almost impossible to catch.

Order
A Ordem da Distância
Role
Ranged damage, physical and magical
Weapon
Bow and quiver

Domador

Never fights alone: the Beast, their companion in battle, leads the way. While it holds the enemy, the Domador weakens them with the whip and with poisons that eat away little by little. Shines in long fights — but if the Beast falls, they lose half their strength.

Order
O Laço de Duas Luzes
Role
Fights alongside their Beast
Weapon
Rod and whip

Paladino

The wall of the party. With sword and shield, they draw enemies to themselves and take blows that would fell anyone else. Their sacred seals mark the enemy and pierce through its defense. They can be the party's tank or a front-line fighter.

Order
A Ordem do Voto
Role
Front line: tank or fighter
Weapon
Sword and shield

Assassin

Strikes from the shadows with two blades strapped to the wrists. Turns invisible, creates copies of themselves and marks the target before unleashing a devastating string of blows. No one takes down an isolated target faster — but if the fight drags on, they are exposed.

Order
A Terceira Sombra
Role
Burst damage on a single target
Weapon
Twin wrist blades

Priest

The heart of the party, with two paths. In the rite of Light, they heal, bless and bring allies back to life. In the rite of Blood, they trade their own life for power and deal area damage — a strong and dangerous path. The same staff serves both.

Order
A Igreja das Duas Chamas
Role
Healing and blessings, or damage paid for with their own life
Weapon
Staff and censer

The recent orders

The Linhagem do Âmbar, the Cripta das Almas and the Guardiões do Limiar are the newest of the nine orders, too new to appear in the public registers. Nobody recognizes them yet — which, for a lot of people, is exactly the reason to choose them.

Recent order

Metamorfo

Fights with a hammer and turns into a beast mid-combat. They choose two beast forms and switch between them and their human form: every switch made at the right moment unleashes an extra blow. Their strength lies in the rhythm of the transformations — switch at the wrong time and you run dry.

Order
A Linhagem do Âmbar
Role
Bruiser who switches between human and beast
Weapon
Hammer and Essence core

Recent order

Necromante

Keeps the souls of the enemies they defeat and calls them back as servants, each with the powers it had in life. They build their own army and choose who joins the fight. Even without servants, they curse, bind and weaken whoever faces them.

Order
A Cripta das Almas
Role
Curses, control and an army of souls
Weapon
Scythe and grimoire

Recent order

Andarilho

Opens portals with a magic ring and decides where the fight happens. Pulls enemies away, throws them against one another and gets allies out of danger in the blink of an eye. Not the hardest hitter, but the one who leads the party to victory.

Order
Os Guardiões do Limiar
Role
Portals, shoves and rescues
Weapon
Aro do Limiar and compass
